Human PSKH1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)

Human PSKH1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg79-Gly424, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 42.16 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Serine/threonine-protein kinase H1 is a ~48 kDa protein. Serine/threonine protein kinase that may be involved in the regulation of pre-mRNA processing. For research use only.

It may phosphorylate components of nuclear splice factor compartments (SFC), such as non-snRNP splicing factors containing a serine/arginine-rich domain (SR proteins). Reversible phosphorylation of SR proteins may cause their release into the nucleoplasm and change their local concentration, thereby influencing alternative splicing.
