Human QSOX2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg54-Asp291, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 29.00 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Sulfhydryl oxidase 2 is a ~77 kDa protein. Catalyzes the oxidation of sulfhydryl groups in peptide and protein thiols to disulfides with the reduction of oxygen to hydrogen peroxide. May contribute to disulfide bond formation in a variety of secreted proteins. Also seems to play a role in regulating the sensitization of neuroblastoma cells for interferon-gamma-induced apoptosis.
