Human RABEP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser464-Glu552, with an N-terminal His-SUMO tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.34 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Involved in endocytic membrane fusion and membrane trafficking of recycling endosomes. Involved in KCNH1 channels trafficking to and from the cell membrane. Forms a complex with RABGEF1 that stimulates RABGEF1-mediated nucleotide exchange on RAB5A. Mediates the traffic of PKD1:PKD2 complex from the endoplasmic reticulum through the Golgi to the cilium.
