Description
Human RAPGEF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human RAPGEF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys780-Asn1035, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 32.15 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Rap guanine nucleotide exchange factor 1 (RAPGEF1) is a ~120 kDa protein. Guanine nucleotide-releasing protein that binds to SH3 domain of CRK and GRB2/ASH. For research use only.
Transduces signals from CRK to activate RAS. Involved in cell branching and adhesion mediated by BCAR1-CRK-RAPGEF1 signaling and activation of RAP1. Plays a role in the establishment of basal endothelial barrier function. Plays a role in nerve growth factor (NGF)-induced sustained activation of Rap1 and neurite outgrowth.
