Description
Human RCC2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human RCC2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu89-Arg501, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 47.26 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein RCC2 is a ~56 kDa protein. Multifunctional protein that may affect its functions by regulating the activity of small GTPases, such as RAC1 and RALA. For research use only.
Required for normal progress through the cell cycle, both during interphase and during mitosis. Required for the presence of normal levels of MAD2L1, AURKB and BIRC5 on inner centromeres during mitosis, and for normal attachment of kinetochores to mitotic spindles. Required for normal organization of the microtubule cytoskeleton in interphase cells. Functions as guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for RALA.
