Human RFXANK Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser91-Glu260, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 21.03 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. DNA-binding protein RFXANK is a ~28 kDa protein. Activates transcription from class II MHC promoters. For research use only.
Activation requires the activity of the MHC class II transactivator/CIITA. May regulate other genes in the cell. RFX binds the X1 box of MHC-II promoters. May also potentiate the activation of RAF1.
