Description
Human RIDA Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human RIDA Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Leu137, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. 2-iminobutanoate/2-iminopropanoate deaminase is a ~14 kDa protein. Catalyzes the hydrolytic deamination of enamine/imine intermediates that form during the course of normal metabolism. For research use only.
May facilitate the release of ammonia from these potentially toxic reactive metabolites, reducing their impact on cellular components. It may act on enamine/imine intermediates formed by several types of pyridoxal-5'-phosphate-dependent dehydratases including L-threonine dehydratase.
