Human SAP30 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln65-His220, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 20.26 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Histone deacetylase complex subunit SAP30 is a ~23 kDa protein. Involved in the functional recruitment of the Sin3-histone deacetylase complex (HDAC) to a specific subset of N-CoR corepressor complexes. For research use only.
Capable of transcription repression by N-CoR. Active in deacetylating core histone octamers (when in a complex) but inactive in deacetylating nucleosomal histones.
