Description
Human SFRP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human SFRP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser32-Lys314, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 34.83 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Secreted frizzled-related protein 1 (SFRP1) is a ~35 kDa protein. Soluble frizzled-related proteins (sFRPS) function as modulators of Wnt signaling through direct interaction with Wnts. For research use only.
They have a role in regulating cell growth and differentiation in specific cell types. SFRP1 decreases intracellular beta-catenin levels. Has antiproliferative effects on vascular cells, in vitro and in vivo, and can induce, in vivo, an angiogenic response. In vascular cell cycle, delays the G1 phase and entry into the S phase.
