Description
Human SH3PXD2A Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human SH3PXD2A Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Asn129, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.51 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. SH3 and PX domain-containing protein 2A (SH3PXD2A) is a ~125 kDa protein. Adapter protein involved in invadopodia and podosome formation, extracellular matrix degradation and invasiveness of some cancer cells. For research use only.
Binds matrix metalloproteinases (ADAMs), NADPH oxidases (NOXs) and phosphoinositides. Acts as an organizer protein that allows NOX1- or NOX3-dependent reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation and ROS localization. In association with ADAM12, mediates the neurotoxic effect of amyloid-beta peptide.
