Description
Human SNX3 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human SNX3 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ala162, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 19.58 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Sorting nexin-3 (SNX3) is a ~18 kDa protein. Phosphoinositide-binding protein required for multivesicular body formation. For research use only.
Specifically binds phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate (PtdIns(P3)). Can also bind phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate (PtdIns(P4)), phosphatidylinositol 5-phosphate (PtdIns(P5)) and phosphatidylinositol 3,5-biphosphate (PtdIns(3,5)P2). Plays a role in protein transport between cellular compartments. Together with RAB7A facilitates endosome membrane association of the retromer cargo-selective subcomplex (CSC/VPS).
