Description
Human SPTBN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human SPTBN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ser278, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 34.67 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Spectrin beta chain, non-erythrocytic 1 (SPTBN1) is a ~274 kDa protein. Fodrin, which seems to be involved in secretion, interacts with calmodulin in a calcium-dependent manner and is thus candidate for the calcium-dependent movement of the cytoskeleton at the membrane. For research use only.
Plays a critical role in central nervous system development and function.
