Description
Human ST13 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ST13 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ile106-Gly279, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.55 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Hsc70-interacting protein is a ~41 kDa protein. One HIP oligomer binds the ATPase domains of at least two HSC70 molecules dependent on activation of the HSC70 ATPase by HSP40. For research use only.
Stabilizes the ADP state of HSC70 that has a high affinity for substrate protein. Through its own chaperone activity, it may contribute to the interaction of HSC70 with various target proteins.
