Human SYCE2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human SYCE2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ala43-Leu170, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.15 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Synaptonemal complex central element protein 2 is a ~24 kDa protein. Major component of the transverse central element of synaptonemal complexes (SCS), formed between homologous chromosomes during meiotic prophase. For research use only.
Requires SYCP1 in order to be incorporated into the central element. May have a role in the synaptonemal complex assembly, stabilization and recombination.
