Description
Human TAT Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human TAT Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Cys221-Lys454, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 28.6 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Tyrosine aminotransferase (TAT) is a ~50 kDa protein. Transaminase involved in tyrosine breakdown. For research use only.
Converts tyrosine to p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate. Can catalyze the reverse reaction, using glutamic acid, with 2-oxoglutarate as cosubstrate (in vitro). Has much lower affinity and transaminase activity towards phenylalanine.
