Description
Human TBC1D23 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human TBC1D23 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly15-Lys306, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 35.71 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. TBC1 domain family member 23 (TBC1D23) is a ~78 kDa protein. Putative Rab GTPase-activating protein which plays a role in vesicular trafficking. For research use only.
Involved in endosome-to-Golgi trafficking. Acts as a bridging protein by binding simultaneously to golgins, including GOLGA1 and GOLGA4, located at the trans-Golgi, and to the WASH complex, located on endosome-derived vesicles. Together with WDR11 complex facilitates the golgin-mediated capture of vesicles generated using AP-1. Plays a role in brain development, including in cortical neuron positioning.
