Description
Human TLE5 Recombinant Protein (N-His-KSI)
Human TLE5 Recombinant Protein (N-His-KSI) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met2-Asp197, with an N-terminal His-KSI tag. Predicted molecular weight: 37.60 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. TLE family member 5 is a ~21 kDa protein. Transcriptional corepressor. For research use only.
Acts as a dominant repressor towards other family members. Inhibits NF-kappa-B-regulated gene expression. May be required for the initiation and maintenance of the differentiated state. Essential for the transcriptional repressor activity of SIX3 during retina and lens development.
