Human TMPO Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Leu243, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 28.96 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Lamina-associated polypeptide 2, isoforms beta/gamma (TMPO) is a ~50 kDa protein. May help direct the assembly of the nuclear lamina and thereby help maintain the structural organization of the nuclear envelope. For research use only.
Possible receptor for attachment of lamin filaments to the inner nuclear membrane. May be involved in the control of initiation of DNA replication through its interaction with NAKAP95.
