Description
Human TRAF6 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human TRAF6 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln348-Asp504, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 20.57 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. TNF receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6) is a ~59 kDa protein. E3 ubiquitin ligase that, together with UBE2N and UBE2V1, mediates the synthesis of 'Lys-63'-linked-polyubiquitin chains conjugated to proteins, such as ECSIT, IKBKG, IRAK1, AKT1 and AKT2. For research use only.
Also mediates ubiquitination of free/unanchored polyubiquitin chain that leads to MAP3K7 activation. Leads to the activation of NF-kappa-B and JUN. Seems to also play a role in dendritic cells (DCs) maturation and/or activation. Represses c-Myb-mediated transactivation, in B-lymphocytes.
