Description
Human TRPV3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human TRPV3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asn671-Val790, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 16.62 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 3 (TRPV3) is a ~90 kDa protein. Non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. For research use only.
It is activated by innocuous (warm) temperatures and shows an increased response at noxious temperatures greater than 39 degrees Celsius. Activation exhibits an outward rectification. The channel pore can dilate to provide permeability to larger cations. May associate with TRPV1 and may modulate its activity.
