Description
Human TSG101 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human TSG101 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Pro145-Leu373, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 27.83 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Tumor susceptibility gene 101 protein (TSG101) is a ~43 kDa protein. Component of the ESCRT-I complex, a regulator of vesicular trafficking process. For research use only.
Binds to ubiquitinated cargo proteins and is required for the sorting of endocytic ubiquitinated cargos into multivesicular bodies (MVBs). Mediates the association between the ESCRT-0 and ESCRT-I complex. Required for completion of cytokinesis; the function requires CEP55. May be involved in cell growth and differentiation.
