Human TUBB Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ile202-Gln292, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 12.51 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Tubulin beta chain (TUBB) is a ~49 kDa protein. Microtubules grow by the addition of GTP-tubulin dimers to the microtubule end, where a stabilizing cap forms. Below the cap, tubulin dimers are in GDP-bound state, owing to GTPase activity of alpha-tubulin.
