Human UBE2R2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Cys191, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 23.97 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 R2 is a ~27 kDa protein. E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that accepts ubiquitin from an E1 ubiquitin-activating protein, and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins by an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex. For research use only.
In vitro catalyzes monoubiquitination and 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitination. Works in collaboration with various Cul1-RING and Cul2-RING E3 ligase complexes. May be involved in degradation of katenin.
