Human USP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg486-Lys599, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 15.03 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 1 (USP1) is a ~88 kDa protein. Negative regulator of DNA damage repair which specifically deubiquitinates monoubiquitinated FANCD2. For research use only.
Also involved in PCNA-mediated translesion synthesis (TLS) by deubiquitinating monoubiquitinated PCNA. Has almost no deubiquitinating activity by itself and requires the interaction with WDR48 to have a high activity.
