Description
Human USP48 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human USP48 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr97-Thr422, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 40.12 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 48 is a ~119 kDa protein. Deubiquitinase that recognizes and hydrolyzes the peptide bond at the C-terminal Gly of ubiquitin. For research use only.
Involved in the processing of polyubiquitin precursors as well as that of ubiquitinated proteins. Plays a role in the regulation of NF-kappa-B activation by TNF receptor superfamily via its interactions with RELA and TRAF2. May also play a regulatory role at postsynaptic sites. Plays an important role in cell cycle progression by deubiquitinating Aurora B/AURKB and thereby extending its stability.
