Description
Human USP8 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human USP8 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys180-Arg323, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.76 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 8 (USP8) is a ~127 kDa protein. Hydrolase that can remove conjugated ubiquitin from proteins and therefore plays an important regulatory role at the level of protein turnover by preventing degradation. For research use only.
Converts both 'Lys-48' an 'Lys-63'-linked ubiquitin chains. Catalytic activity is enhanced in the M phase. Involved in cell proliferation. Required to enter into S phase in response to serum stimulation.
