Human VAMP7 Recombinant Protein (N-His)

Human VAMP7 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Met140, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.1 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Vesicle-associated membrane protein 7 (VAMP7) is a ~24 kDa protein. Involved in the targeting and/or fusion of transport vesicles to their target membrane during transport of proteins from the early endosome to the lysosome. For research use only.

Required for heterotypic fusion of late endosomes with lysosomes and homotypic lysosomal fusion. Required for calcium regulated lysosomal exocytosis. Involved in the export of chylomicrons from the endoplasmic reticulum to the cis Golgi. Required for exocytosis of mediators during eosinophil and neutrophil degranulation, and target cell killing by natural killer cells.
