Human VAV3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning His183-Glu380, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 25.44 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Guanine nucleotide exchange factor VAV3 is a ~97 kDa protein. Exchange factor for GTP-binding proteins RhoA, RhoG and, to a lesser extent, Rac1. For research use only.
Binds physically to the nucleotide-free states of those GTPases. Plays an important role in angiogenesis. Its recruitment by phosphorylated EPHA2 is critical for EFNA1-induced RAC1 GTPase activation and vascular endothelial cell migration and assembly. May be important for integrin-mediated signaling, at least in some cell types.
