Description
Human VEGFD Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human VEGFD Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser22-Pro354, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 40.15 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Vascular endothelial growth factor D (VEGFD) is a ~40 kDa protein. Growth factor active in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis and endothelial cell growth, stimulating their proliferation and migration and also has effects on the permeability of blood vessels. For research use only.
May function in the formation of the venous and lymphatic vascular systems during embryogenesis, and also in the maintenance of differentiated lymphatic endothelium in adults. Binds and activates VEGFR-2 (KDR/FLK1) and VEGFR-3 (FLT4) receptors.
