Description
Human ZNF24 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ZNF24 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Val368, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 44.32 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Zinc finger protein 24 is a ~42 kDa protein. Transcription factor required for myelination of differentiated oligodendrocytes. For research use only.
Required for the conversion of oligodendrocytes from the premyelinating to the myelinating state. In the developing central nervous system (CNS), involved in the maintenance in the progenitor stage by promoting the cell cycle. Specifically binds to the 5'-TCAT-3' DNA sequence. Has transcription repressor activity in vitro.
