Description
JUNV GP1 Recombinant Protein (C-Fc)
JUNV GP1 Recombinant Protein (C-Fc) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Glu59-Leu250, with a C-terminal Fc tag. Predicted molecular weight: 50.49 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Pre-glycoprotein polyprotein GP complex (GP1) is a ~55 kDa protein. Functions as a cleaved signal peptide that is retained as the third component of the GP complex (GP-C). For research use only.
Helps to stabilize the spike complex in its native conformation. The SSP is required for efficient glycoprotein expression, post-translational maturation cleavage of G1 and G2, glycoprotein transport to the cell surface plasma membrane, formation of infectious virus particles, and acid pH-dependent glycoprotein-mediated cell fusion.
