The MLKL Antibody (CAB5579) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This gene belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. The encoded protein contains a protein kinase-like domain; however, is thought to lack protein kinase activity. This protein plays a critical role in tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-induced necroptosis, a programmed cell death process, via interaction with receptor-interacting protein 3 (Rip3), which is a key signaling molecule in necroptosis pathway. Knockout of this gene in mice showed that it is essential for necroptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. Lysates/proteins: 25μg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit (AbGn00020). Exposure time: 1s.
Confocal imaging of paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue using MLKL Rabbit pAb (CAB5579, dilution 1:100) followed by a further incubation with Cy3 Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (AS007, dilution 1:500) (Red). DAPI was used for nuclear staining (Blue). High pressure antigen retrieval performed with 0.01M Citrate Buffer(pH 6.0) prior to IF staining. Objective: 40x.
