Description
Mouse ACVRL1 Recombinant Protein (N-GST & C-His)
Mouse ACVRL1 Recombinant Protein (N-GST & C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp23-Pro119, with an N-terminal GST tag and a C-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Activin receptor type-1-like is a ~56 kDa protein. Type I receptor for TGF-beta family ligands BMP9/GDF2 and BMP10 and important regulator of normal blood vessel development. For research use only.
On ligand binding, forms a receptor complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators. May bind activin as well.
