Mouse BCL2L1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse BCL2L1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Lys233, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Bcl-2-like protein 1 is a ~26 kDa protein. Potent inhibitor of cell death. For research use only.
Inhibits activation of caspases. Appears to regulate cell death by blocking the voltage-dependent anion channel (VDAC) by binding to it and preventing the release of the caspase activator, CYC1, from the mitochondrial membrane. Also acts as a regulator of G2 checkpoint and progression to cytokinesis during mitosis.
