Description
Mouse CD166/ALCAM Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Mouse CD166/ALCAM Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Trp28-Lys527, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 59.03 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. CD166 antigen is a ~65 kDa protein. Cell adhesion molecule that mediates both heterotypic cell-cell contacts via its interaction with CD6, as well as homotypic cell-cell contacts. For research use only.
Promotes T-cell activation and proliferation via its interactions with CD6. Contributes to the formation and maturation of the immunological synapse via its interactions with CD6. Mediates homotypic interactions with cells that express ALCAM. Mediates attachment of dendritic cells onto endothelial cells via homotypic interaction.
