Mouse CD172a/SIRPA Recombinant Protein (N-His)

Mouse CD172a/SIRPA Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly31-Gly350, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 37.66 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Tyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type substrate 1 (CD172a/SIRPA) is a ~56 kDa protein. Immunoglobulin-like cell surface receptor for CD47. For research use only.

Acts as a docking protein and induces translocation of PTPN6, PTPN11 and other binding partners from the cytosol to the plasma membrane. Supports adhesion of cerebellar neurons, neurite outgrowth and glial cell attachment. May play a key role in intracellular signaling during synaptogenesis and in synaptic function. Involved in the negative regulation of receptor tyrosine kinase-coupled cellular responses induced by cell adhesion, growth factors or insulin.
