Description
Mouse CD304/NRP1 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Mouse CD304/NRP1 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Phe22-Pro856, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 96.57 kDa. Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Neuropilin-1 is a ~103 kDa protein. Receptor involved in the development of the cardiovascular system, in angiogenesis, in the formation of certain neuronal circuits and in organogenesis outside the nervous system. For research use only.
Mediates the chemorepulsant activity of semaphorins. Recognizes a C-end rule (CendR) motif R/KXXR/K on its ligands which causes cellular internalization and vascular leakage. Binds to semaphorin 3A (SEMA3A), the PLGF-2 isoform of PGF, the VEGF165 isoform of VEGFA and VEGFB. Coexpression with KDR results in increased VEGF165 binding to KDR as well as increased chemotaxis.
