Description
Mouse CD326/EPCAM Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Mouse CD326/EPCAM Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Gln24-Thr266, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 30.55 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Epithelial cell adhesion molecule is a ~35 kDa protein. May act as a physical homophilic interaction molecule between intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs) at the mucosal epithelium for providing immunological barrier as a first line of defense against mucosal infection. For research use only.
Plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation. Up-regulates the expression of FABP5, MYC and cyclins A and E.
