Description
Mouse CD40LG Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse CD40LG Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met112-Leu260, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.85 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. CD40 ligand is a ~29 kDa protein. Cytokine that acts as a ligand to CD40/TNFRSF5. For research use only.
Costimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. Its cross-linking on T-cells generates a costimulatory signal which enhances the production of IL4 and IL10 in conjunction with the TCR/CD3 ligation and CD28 costimulation. Induces the activation of NF-kappa-B. Induces the activation of kinases MAPK8 and PAK2 in T-cells.
