Description
Mouse CD74 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse CD74 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln56-Leu279, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 27.74 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. H-2 class II histocompatibility antigen gamma chain (CD74) is a ~31 kDa protein. Plays a critical role in MHC class II antigen processing by stabilizing peptide-free class II alpha/beta heterodimers in a complex soon after their synthesis and directing transport of the complex from the endoplasmic reticulum to compartments where peptide loading of class II takes place. For research use only.
Enhance also the stimulation of T-cell responses through interaction with CD44.
