Description
Mouse CD91/LRP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse CD91/LRP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys521-Phe978, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 53.76 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Prolow-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 1 is a ~504 kDa protein. Endocytic receptor involved in endocytosis and in phagocytosis of apoptotic cells. For research use only.
Required for early embryonic development. Involved in cellular lipid homeostasis. Involved in the plasma clearance of chylomicron remnants and activated LRPAP1 (alpha 2-macroglobulin), as well as the local metabolism of complexes between plasminogen activators and their endogenous inhibitors. Acts as an alpha-2-macroglobulin receptor.
