Mouse CDw293/BMPR1B Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys14-Lys126, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 15.01 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Bone morphogenetic protein receptor type-1B is a ~56 kDa protein. On ligand binding, forms a receptor complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators. Receptor for BMP7/OP-1. Receptor for GDF5. Positively regulates chondrocyte differentiation through GDF5 interaction.
