Description
Mouse CHIL3 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Mouse CHIL3 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Tyr398, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 45.42 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Chitinase-like protein 3 is a ~44 kDa protein. Lectin that binds saccharides with a free amino group, such as glucosamine or galactosamine. For research use only.
Binding to oligomeric saccharides is much stronger than binding to mono- or disaccharides. Also binds chitin and heparin. Has weak hexosaminidase activity but no chitinase activity. Has chemotactic activity for T-lymphocytes, bone marrow cells and eosinophils.
