Description
Mouse CTSC Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse CTSC Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser256-Leu462, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 25.38 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Dipeptidyl peptidase 1 (CTSC) is a ~52 kDa protein. Thiol protease. For research use only.
Has dipeptidylpeptidase activity. Active against a broad range of dipeptide substrates composed of both polar and hydrophobic amino acids. Proline cannot occupy the P1 position and arginine cannot occupy the P2 position of the substrate. Can act as both an exopeptidase and endopeptidase.
