Mouse FGF23 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Val251, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Fibroblast growth factor 23 is a ~27 kDa protein. Inhibits renal tubular phosphate transport by reducing SLC34A1 levels. Acts directly on the parathyroid to decrease PTH secretion. Regulator of vitamin-D metabolism. Negatively regulates osteoblasts differentiation and matrix mineralization.
