Description
Mouse GPLD1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse GPLD1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln440-Asp837, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 45.33 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Phosphatidylinositol-glycan-specific phospholipase D (GPLD1) is a ~93 kDa protein. Hydrolyzes the inositol phosphate linkage of glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane proteins, thereby releasing them from the cell surface. For research use only.
Cleaves on the inositol side of the anchor, leaving the phosphate group attached to the membrane. This release of GPI-anchored proteins can modulate diverse biological processes, including the activation of signaling pathways.
