Mouse ITGB8 Recombinant Protein (N-His)

Mouse ITGB8 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Val106-Ser466, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 42.28 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Integrin beta-8 (ITGB8) is a ~84 kDa protein. Integrin alpha-V:beta-8 (ITGAV:ITGB8) is a receptor for fibronectin. For research use only.

It recognizes the sequence R-G-D in its ligands. Integrin alpha-V:beta-6 (ITGAV:ITGB6) mediates R-G-D-dependent release of transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-beta-1) from regulatory Latency-associated peptide (LAP), thereby playing a key role in TGF-beta-1 activation on the surface of activated regulatory T-cells (Tregs). Required during vasculogenesis.
