Mouse LIF Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse LIF Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asn44-Phe203, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 20.10 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Leukemia inhibitory factor is a ~22 kDa protein. LIF has the capacity to induce terminal differentiation in leukemic cells. For research use only.
Its activities include the induction of hematopoietic differentiation in normal and myeloid leukemia cells, the induction of neuronal cell differentiation, and the stimulation of acute-phase protein synthesis in hepatocytes.
