Mouse Mmp1a Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Phe18-Cys464, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 54.54 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Interstitial collagenase A is a ~53 kDa protein. Cleaves collagens of types I, II, and III at one site in the helical domain. For research use only.
Also cleaves collagens of types VII and X. Able to degrade synthetic peptides and type I and II fibrillar collagen.
