Mouse NCL Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse NCL Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr306-Leu558, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Nucleolin is a ~76 kDa protein. Nucleolin is the major nucleolar protein of growing eukaryotic cells. For research use only.
It is found associated with intranucleolar chromatin and pre-ribosomal particles. It induces chromatin decondensation by binding to histone H1. It is thought to play a role in pre-rRNA transcription and ribosome assembly. May play a role in the process of transcriptional elongation.
